About Our Company

Artist's Choice Premium Sketch Books & Drawing Books 

Our company's Sketch and Drawing book business was formed through a collaboration with Art Educator's in our local school district. Our daughter had just started art classes in elementary school and we were informed that she would need a sketch book for Art. Upon arriving at our local retailer to select a book, we were greeted by a limited selection of low quality and over-priced books. I asked my daughter if she would like me to make her a special sketch book for school and she agreed. Within a week our prototype book was developed and off to school.

A few days later we received a call from the art instructor asking us where we had found our daughter's sketch book. After we explained that we had made it, we sent her one and shortly the elementary school was selling our books through their PTA school store.

During the course of the next few years our books expanded by word of mouth through the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School System. We spent a lot of time working with the Art Instructors on getting the right paper blend. We came up with the paper we use today. It is widely acknowledged as the best available.

From those humble beginnings we are now authorized vendors in school districts across the country; from New York to Miami and across the country to Hawaii with many, many points in between. And now, through our retail distribution, we are now sold around the world.
